About SmartPaw Reviews

A research-first review site for smart pet technology.

What we do

SmartPaw Reviews covers connected pet products: GPS trackers, pet cameras, automatic feeders, smart litter boxes, and pet health monitors. For every product we cover, we compile manufacturer specifications, read professional reviews, and aggregate what verified owners report — then we organize it into honest, comparable buying guides.

Our review method

1. Spec verification. We check key specifications (battery life, subscription costs, weight limits, app features) against manufacturer pages.
2. Review aggregation. We read professional reviews and scan owner feedback for recurring praise and recurring complaints.
3. Honest trade-offs. Every product gets real pros and cons — including subscription fees, common failure points, and who should skip it.
4. Regular updates. Guides are re-checked and updated as products change, prices move, and new models launch.

What we don't do

• We never accept payment for rankings or placements.
• We never claim hands-on testing we haven't performed.
• We never invent specifications, prices, or review quotes.

How the site is funded

SmartPaw Reviews is reader-supported through affiliate commissions: when you buy through links on our site, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This keeps our guides free. Our full policy is on the affiliate disclosure page.
